Posts: 112 21-Oct-07 9:06 PM	Tags : poll, polls As I finish getting the images for a skin, I am adding a poll to that forum. This gives you a chance to see how the bar poll looks in that skin. Please feel free to vote. Voting in a poll will NOT add you to the membership list of a board, so you don't have to worry about voting and then getting a ton of admin emails.

Posts: 172 19-Mar-08 8:10 PM	The polls for the forums will be using classic as the type. This is the style closest to the ezboard polls. Classic uses javascript. I will start polls in the two signature forums using the other 3 types of polls, Bar Chart, Column Chart and Pie Chart so that you can see all of the types and see them against a dark background and a light background. Bar chart on light Bar chart on dark Column chart on light Column on dark Pie chart on light Pie chart on dark You'll need to vote to see the display. These 3 polls use flash, so you may have some users that won't be able to see the results. Some notes about polls. When you create a poll it will use what ever type you have set for the board under Community Settings > Display Preferences. If you change the setting, the existing polls will not change type. So if you have a Pie chart poll and you switch to bar, the first poll will still show as a pie chart. If you change the color palette for polls, the colors will change for existing polls. So if you are using rainbow and you change the skin for the forum and it's hard to see the poll results, you can change the settings to Reef and the poll will show those new colors. For the flash polls you will need to hover your cursor over the chart to see the number of votes and what the option is. You can change how the results options appear (the options for those who haven't voted yet, will be in the order you typed them). Default - they stay the way you entered them when you created the poll. Option (A-Z) - the options will be arranged alphabetically Options (Z-A) - same as above, but in reverse order Votes (0-100) - the options will rearrange based on how many votes each option has received Votes (100- 0) - the options are arranged so that the option on the top has the most votes and the one on the bottom the fewest. Like colors, changes to poll results ordering is retroactive. So if you don't like how you you have it set, you can change in and the current polls will reflect the change. Posts: 2 8-Apr-08 2:46 PM	I took screen prints of the color palettes for polls. I believe that most of these have 10 colors and if you have more options than that, they repeat.
